I am a Canadian born, Sweden based artist. Making and appreciating art has been an important part of my life since I was a child. I studied Art History at the University of Calgary and subsequently moved to London to do an MA in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. I lived in London for several years after completing my Masters degree, working in art and design. My family and I then relocated to Copenhagen, where I started painting large abstracts to fill up the walls in our apartment. We now live in the countryside in South Sweden close to nature and the sea where I find inspiration. My interest in fashion, design and interior decoration inform the abstract expressionist style of my paintings. Looking at beautiful art, travelling, music, poetry, my family and friends also inspire me. I love to use colour and abstract form to evoke a mood, compliment a space and make the perfect finishing detail in a room.
